# Koturo

> Koturo is a launchpad on Solana. Anyone can launch a token, and anyone can buy or sell one in USDC. There are three kinds: Onchain Traded Baskets (OTBs), which hold baskets of tokenized stocks; Onchain Traded Exposures (OTXs), which hold a leveraged position on one market; and memecoins.

- An OTB holds tokenized shares issued by xStocks (Backed), Backpack and Ondo, not by Koturo, in the weights its creator set. Buying mints new tokens at the value of the holdings; selling redeems them for USDC at that value, less a small fee.
- An OTX holds a leveraged long or short position through Hyperliquid and is minted and redeemed at its value the same way. OTX tokens are not available to US residents.
- A memecoin trades on its own pool and shares a part of its trading fees with its holders.
- A token's price can fall, including to zero. Nothing on Koturo is investment advice.
